Smoky smoky engine

    what does it mean when you start to see smoke when you fire up the 2 cycle engine (weedeater, edger, or blower)?

    Maybe you have the oil/fuel mix incorrect

    I would think the oil/gas mixture is off too. Not much else to them if they're running fine just smoking.

    the engine may need to be leaned. It may be runnin rich. Gotta luv the smell though right :dizzy:

    also, check the exhaust....if you run rich gas for a long time, you start to get like a grease build up, so essentially you are burning the gunk....file it out and you will notice an improvement
