I've got an uneven practice football field. You can feel the waves as you bounce along on the mower. Most of our other fields sometimes get a low spot that we fill in by hand and it comes out pretty good. This one field will be a big project to do by hand. But I've got sprinklers and don't want to till it up and start over. Is there a good way to add an inch or two of topsoil only where it's needed without spending a week with shovels and rakes? I really want to topdress but only the low spots. Most of the spots are close enough to final grade that most of the grass will survive and with a little seed I'll be in good shape. But I need a way to place the soil in the right places. Does somebody make a machine that would do this without tearing up the rest of The field?
