i have been seeing an unusual number of snakes this year as compared to other years. Has anyone else been having this happen?

Ive seen two, both at my yard. One literally raced away from the mower, the second met the wrong end of a 20ga

Havent seen any. I see a garden snake a few times a year but that's it.

Oh, I did hit a gopher snake with my truck a few weeks back.

My favorite snake experience is running into a pine rattler. But that was years ago.

i've seen about 3. none of them were rattle snakes so i let them live. there's king snakes around and you don't wanna kill those because they kill rattle snakes.

Snakes are a daily occurrence especially with all the rain. When bush-hogging I prolly run over 3-4 a day.
