I am considering purchasing a Hustler Mini Z 42 or the Snapper 500 Pro series. Both come with 19hp V-Twin Kawasaki. Any thought on either or both machines?

I don't own either one but from what i know about these brands Hustler makes some of the best mowers on the market. Snapper mowers don't seem to be at the same level of quality and durability as Hustler. How do they compare in price?

Snapper has some nice comm. equipment, I bet if you really sat down and compared them you wouldnt find much difference. I would go with dealer support on this one.

Do a head to head comparison and demo them both. I think the choice will be clear once you do!

I agree and would do the same too.

And I hate to be the one to point it out, because I like Hustler, but you are not comparing two units from the same tier.

The drive system is the BIG specification that divides.
Though I have not heard anything bad yet about the 2800 IZT's.

I haven't seen the mini-me Mini Z's yet either
It's possible I could like the hustler better.

The only thing I don't like on the Snapper is those little short 11x4-5 front tires.
You can learn to live with the tire size, but everyone should use 13" or taller tires.
The short ones just get wedged up so easy is all.

    Congrats on your decision...
Hustler is such a good company that it's hard to go wrong with them.

Post us some pictures of the little bugger when you get it.
Hustler's site doesn't have much to look at.
