Hi, new to the forum. I have a bunch of posts and some rep on the Arboristsite but am new to Lawnsite.

I have an older 28" RER in great shape. I do all my own work and plan to keep it. I want to get a bagger this fall. Question is, should I get the 5-bushel single bag, or the double bag? And why did Snapper rate the capacities in different units? I can't compare the sizes. I want the double bagger so I don't have to stop as often to empty it out, but it costs $500 new which is about $350 more than the single set up. I am looking around for used bagger kits, too, but they usually only get sold with complete mowers.

Advice please - which bagger setup is better for the RER and why? BTW, my yard is all flat, so I don't have any slopes to contend with when the bag is full and heavy.

And: PM me if you have a double bagger kit for the 28" deck you can sell and ship at a reasonable price (meaning less than the five bills my dealer is charging).

    Thanks.
