Anyone mower with a Snapper rear engine rider? How long do they last?

I use one to mow my house. They are durable, simple, and easy to work on. Mine is around 5 years old and has never given me any problems. They are know to last a long time 30+ years. The only minuses is a crappy turning radius and some might consider them slow.

also the cut is terriable due to low blade speed. turning radis is absurd.

Mine actually does a very good job at mowing St. Augustine grass but the reason might be because it has a 12.5 ohv engine. Most of the older ones had a flathead 8 or 9. One thing that improves cutting performance and mulching is to use a gator blade if you don't bag.
