    i posted that i put down nitrogen last week and burned my grass, so this was a mistake? i used a pre m and then i figured the grass would do better with some n becouse it was starting to look shabby. im just a home owner but i do cut grass for a living and am trying my luck at herbicides and ferlizers. any help would be great as to what i should put down next to get my grass to come back

    I never put more than 1 lb or N per 1000 sq ft per application. All I know to do at this point is deep water to leach the N to lower layers of soil. As far as herbicide applications, you're going to need state certification if you don't already have it.

    you should just leave your lawn alone, you dont know what youre doing, this is why people are supposed to be liscensed! i wont dispute that watering it will help it,just dont go overboard you can cause even worse problems. a core aeration might not be a bad idea.
