I was mulching up leaves and going in circles with my ZTR. All of the sudden my right rear wheel became non responsive.

I moved the right lever back and forth and nothing. I heard a funny sound coming from the hydro pump,or motor.

I checked the oil and that was ok. I check the lines and they were ok.

Some thing really bad just happened to my right hand hydro didn't it??

    Crap... thats all I need!

Thank god I have my back up walk behind 52. But it ain't no ZTR.

This every happen to anyone where it wasn't a big deal to fix?

If your left worked and right did not, prob not belt. Maybe a linkage came loose. If mad alot of noise and leaking from pump then maybe pump.

This is my first thought. I think 1 belt runs both pumps on most z's so that's not the problem. good luck :(

Check your hydro pump Release Valve. Its the ones you loosen if you need to push the mower. If one loosened, the results would emulate your situation.

ya I checked the release valve.
I was so mad I checked everything from tire pressure to the paint.

Iv excepted the fact that either the hydro motor or the pump went south. So I'm going to be spending some money-honey.

Oh well, its one of those being in business for your self things.
