I know of a dealer with 13 of the same Briggs 25 hp Hornet just sitting out fading in the sun right now. I am thinking of talking with him if a DEEP discount were involved. I am small time, but if the price were right, I might take my chances on one. Anyone know what will become of dealer stock as the months tick by? Are the dealers stuck with these things with no company behind them?

Ariens should end up buying the Co. At least that is the word on the street.

I doubt they are going to cut a deep discount for one unit. They might be willing to break even if you bought a few of them. I imagine they will push them for as long as they can, two or three years, then when they feel there is no hope, they will turn them in to a liquidator, or send them off to auction.
