I havent ran into this yet, but I got a project coming up where I have to remove alot of sod off of a hill to create a mulch bed. My question is how well do sod cutters work on hills? The hill is nothing crazy you can easily walk up it and its probably 10ft tall 60ft wide.

The only problem you might run into is the oil sensor might read low oil on the inclines and keep shutting your machine off.

Otherwise it should be ok to use.

I renovated golf courses for 11 years. When I would have to cut sod around the bunkers, I would attach a rope to the up hillside of the frame and have one of my helpers pull while I ran the sod cutter. Hope this is helpful.
