I have 5 acres and would like to move some St. Augustine grass from the back acreage to the front, where it can be seen. I'd also like to move around some Bahia grass. How do these sod cutters Bluebird, Ryan handle tree roots? What happens when I hit a root?

Also, the Billy goats and Turfco's only go to 1.75" depth (Bluebird and Ryan go to 2.50"), is that enough depth for St. Augustine and Bahia in Central Florida?
