I have a friend that wants 1,000 ft. of sod installed. I was wondering what a fair price would be. He is in a rush to get it done. The sod is going to cost about $300. I've only helped on installation and never priced one. He is a good friend and I would like to help him out. Thanks for any help.

I did a 70 yard sod install a few weeks ago and it took me a little less than 2 hours. You've got 111 yards, I'd figure 3 hours to install, as long as there is not a great deal of surface prep to do. Are you providing the sod? You say this is a friend -- do you want to give him a break price-wise? If not, I'd probably charge about $5 per yard, so figure $550 or so.

    Hope this helps.

I told him I would do it for $600 today and he said do it.It's gonna be a fairly easy install. Everybody is happy and another experience for me.
    Thanks again,

god dang why is your sod so expensive? 1000sq ft for me only costs $120. I just did a 1000sq ft job and got the job $1350 and only took 6 hours.
