Is $1.00 per sq ft. prep and lay for sod a decent price. The customer will be providing the sod. Also in the other post where you guys are saying $65-90 per yard of mulch, does that include you buying the mulch?

you dont mention the prep work involved... do you have to grade ? add top soil? why is the client providing sod ? Call a sod grower and see if you can get wholeale then resell to client at retail which is what it would cost them.

We get prep (depends on amount of work) plus about about 120 for actually laying 450-500 ft of sod (1 pallet) and then our mark up on the material. Delivery if I gotta go get a small order. Small patch jobs go around 4-500 depending on amount of prep work. It can go up if ammendments or more material or bad accsess.
