Would it be beneficial to put grub control down before resodding?
Example: Scrape of the old turf and weeds....apply grub/chinch control and water in....install new sod.
Would it be wise to fertilize at the same time before resodding?

Depends, what is the reentry period on the chemicals you are applying and when do you want to sod?
Also, what is the mode of action of the chemical?
Typically cinch bug control is done with a foliar absorbed spray so efficacy towards cinch control may be compromised.
Everything said, I would wait and apply after the new sod is down.
Fertilizer is a different story, this I would apply, then apply the sod.

I'm not applying any chemicals as I am not licensed to do so. I was just curious.
