Never thought I'd ask a price question but here goes....Trying to establish a sq ft unit price for sod removal. Base price will include sod cutter, labor, and disposal. I am assuming good access. Does .40/sq ft sound high or low?

How many ft, how many hours? That's some grunt work. What do you pay per truck load @ your dump? what's the rental rate?

I have my own place to dump. Hauling with dump trailer or dump truck. This is a base price. It will be adjusted for large or small areas or hard access.

We charge 43 cents per square foot to strip and dispose of sod + travel fee for initial trip to job site.

I would charge no less than $.50/ sqft. and a dump fee of about $20-25. This does not include other ammendments.
