I prefer to put down sod for a customer vs seed. I have two estimates to put together . Both clients said put seed down but with the dry summer I suggested sod. I find putting down seed always risky. Must be watered just like sod. Both jobs are under 350 sq ft. Overall I've always had better results with sod. If the seed does not germinate I get called back. How do I sell the customer the sod instead of the seed.

How do you figure out how much seed? Is it so many lbs per sq ft? or some other formula.

One customer wants 2 quotes one with sod and one with seed.:canadaflag:
