sod?

    how many skids is 5000 sq feet of sod and how much top soil would I need to cover this square footage? thanks in advance

    Most of the times, one skid has 50 rolls. Each roll = 9sqfts =1yard.
    One pellet= 450sqfts. So, i think you will need just a little more than 11 skids.

    Usually comes 500 sq ft per pallet,although I've gotten 600 sq ft or you can get less.I just had no luck finding it in central Jersey at any of the sod farms in the area today.They dont even know if they will be cutting sod this year again.Check other thread,NJ guys and gals. I dont know what part of the state your from?
