The place I get my St. Augustine in Dallas area sells it by the pallet which covers 450sq ft. So you would be looking at 50 pallets of grass. Would need to have it delivered on a semi. Cost would be about $5500 + delivery charge.

last quote i got on st Augustine was 131.00 per pallet.
450 sq feet per pallet.6-8 pallets min per order.
for 1 pallet i would think Lowe's or a nursery in our area would cost about 175.00-200.00 each.

    a pallets about 5'x5' or 6'x6'and 4 to 5 feet tall.weights "i think" around 600-800lbs
i don't know about others but im charging 1.00 per sq foot to prep and install for simple yards.not including top soil.which can run around 300.00 for a 17yrd load.

    hope this helps

50 sq yards would be 150'x150' which is 22,500 sq feet.better call em and clarifiy what their pallet covers

a square yard is 3x3=9 he needs 50 of these. 50x9=450. One pallet, will be about 6ft by 6 ft on the trailer.

Thats funny, a pallet of sod weighing only 600-800lbs. Try more like 2000-3000 for a 400 or 500 sf pallet of st augustine. Pallets of sod are HEAVY..............
