I am looking to buy my first software program and am a little overwhelmed. I am currently serving apx. 70 res. acts and 10 small HOA's/comm. acts. . I am considering the Grounds keeper pro program, but would like some input from others in the industry as opposed to the promises and pressures from the sales and marketing reps. etc....Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What do you want the software to do?

Save me time!!! And make me money!!!!

1..I would like to save time converting estimates/proposals/invoices w/o re entering contact info etc....
    2. Help in routing and keeping track of crews
    3. unit pricing that can be catered to each customer
    4. to have the option of printing my own invoices or buying blanks from supplier?
    5. I like the idea of crew leaders being able to barcode customers at the time of maintenance completion
    6. Quick books compatible
    7. payroll

That is enough for starters. I am not looking for a real in depth program that is suited for a company that dose 500 acts w/ a full office staff. Mainly a userfriendly program for a mid size company.

GK pro does not interact with QB
GK pro does not have a bar code system
GK pro does not allow you to bill customers with multiple property's for a individual property if it was done on the same date as another one of the same customers property's.
It will do the rest of the things in your list.
