Soil pH only 4.4

    Ray ive seen LCOs spread lime when the ph was off do to the High acidity, as you stated 4.4 which needs to be at least 6 to 6.5 sometimes puting down 150 to 200lbs per 1000,just with shovels and rakes from the truck bed,i guess they knew what they were doing, there yds look real nice. Have you tried the granular lime? Seems not as messy and easier to calibrate. Marks Mowing Service

    Where I live we have real acid soil 4.5 or so and lime alot, we just split it up into 4 or so aps starting after Labor Day,Halloween,Thanksgiving,X-Mas.
    Each region has it's own weather but this is how I do it.:)
