Soil Test?

    I was curious if anyone kmows where I could have my soil tests analized for micro nutrients and PH? Thanks

    Your local agricultural experiment station should be able to help you. Fee varies from state to state, as does turn-around time. Alot of your major universities with ag programs offer it too. Lesco does it too.

    You will need about one ziploc sandwich baggie full of just soil, no sticks, rocks, grass, etc. Take samples from 12-15 different spots randomly throughout your lawn. Don't just pick the really nasty spots, you need a good cross section. If you have some radically different sections of yard, do seperate samples and tests for each. Do this if, say, you had 80 yards of soil spread in the front, but none in the back. Chances are they're different soil conditions.
