How do you go about testing soil and or where do you get a kit to do so?

Anyone have any experience with powerseeding. More germination than new soil and seed? How do you charge for this also?

Soil test kits are available almost anywhere. I would bet that a Lawnsite sponsor carries one or can refer you to someone that does. Instructions for use should be included with the test kit. Multi test soil probes are also available but are generally more expensive. You can contact your local extension for local nutrient requirements, also check with your local or state Ag. dept. to be sure certification is not required for soil ammendment (fertilizer/pH adjustment). We don't do much but hydroseeding down here so no help there.
