Has anyone used one of these before?http://www.bugpage.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16245
These booms come in 2, 3, or 4 nozzle.
I have one account with a 9500 sq. ft. backyard with a tiny gate that I cannot access with my ZRT mounted boom sprayer. I am looking for something a little faster than a backpack with a single nozzle. I cannot justify buying a skid sprayer at this time. Thanks

These booms are for SP Systems backpack sprayers, not Solo. Has anyone every used these? It looks like a pretty good idea for getting move coverage out of a backpack in less time.

I used the two pronged boom for the Solo when we first started. We had very little customers, obviously starting at point zero I was in the same boat as you, hard to justify spending a ton of money on larger more efficient equipment. The backpack sprayer with two spray heads did fine when we only had a few yards, the slow part was having to stop and refill over and over again.
We took on so many customers by the end of the season I vowed to buy something more efficient. I finished up last season using a buddies towable tank and hose. This season we are using a Z Spray. I will use the Solo for gates that are to small for the Z-Spray, at least what I can't reach with the attached hose. I am purchasing another bp sprayer for strictly soil sterilizer.

I use these mini-booms screwed on to the chemlawn gun spraying from the main tank and totally destroying weeds in 30 degree weather with colder nights.Use trimec 992 at 110ozs per 100 gl and barrage at 37ozs and get the best results at the cheapest price. After almost 30 yrs of this I have never seen anything take out winter annualls and winter perrineals like this combination does.
