Hello, I was just curious about how much workman's comp run everyone. I've been solo up to this point, but I'm going to have to hire an employee for the up coming season. Haven't talked with my agent yet. Just curious about how much I'm looking to spend.

It varies but I would figure anywhere from 5-8% so a $400 a week employee would be $20-32$ a week for WC.

you really need to talk to your agent since work comp will rate your company and you could have several rates depending on the services you provide. Work comp rates can vary alot from company to company. I'm sure you thought of it but you will also be paying extra on taxes, medicare, fica, unemployment insurance, liability insurance ect.
