So I went to a auction hoping to score a kubota ztr with 26 hours. Well that sucker went for $7600. A bit pricey but it was basically a new unit.

I almost bought a old 3 wheel scag with 2600 hours for $400 but between the length and hours. Kinda regretting this one it couldve been a backup. I nearly died laughing when someone bought a timecutter for $1800.

I lost on a 24" bobcat brushcutter that went for $575.

    So the good,
    I got a bluebird edger for $215.
    A Redmax ebz8000 for $145.
    A Stihl FS-55R and a Redmax G20LS for $80 with no heads.

Theres no guarantee that any of this stuff runs. Some of it sells close to retail price too. You gotta know your prices to do well. This time everything I bought runs good. The blower is a little beat up looking but still powerful.

Should I get oem trimmer heads? Anyone have a place with good prices?

That Kubota looked in really good shape. Was it gas or Diesel?

ohh it was in perfect condition. I was in love its a diesel with 26 hours and a 48" deck. The one behind it had 900 hours with a 60" deck.

    You bought it?
If you did, I think you paid a great price because new ones go for $13,000 (Diesel 331)

I did but was hoping on getting it cheaper or both. I was surprised the bigger one went for almost the same price. I have never seen these selling used so I wasnt sure what the secondhand price would be. Its a zd221.

Okkkkkkk, yes then you prolly overpaid just by a tiny bit maybe $200-500 bucks. Because those 221's do go for a little less than the 331, 326's.
But still, for a low hours mower and the amazing shape it is in it is just fine. :)
