Long story short. I get a call about how this business has 4 acres of mowing. Their current company does it for $150. They want to save money. They say they will pay $300 every 2 weeks. I declined. Its a bit low. But their math is off from their thinking.

I make over 640 for the same s.f. I'd pass.

Was it a math error or did the guy just misspeak? You didn't provide enough information to see exactly what the error was. They were paying the old company $150 per week? cut? month? and they want it cut every 2 weeks and will pay $300 per cut or per month?

It should have said 150 per week. Then I said they were willing to pay 300 every other week to save money.

So how much extra time would it take to mow every two weeks?

That's not really the point here. As for extra time, all depends on rainfall and weed pressure. I would say as little as 10% more time to 30% more time.

I don't think I have ever heard of this weed pressure, but I'll take your word for it.
