Interesting article about the Metro Gold Line that they are building out here between Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. They are building all of the bridges with special cables inside of them and TDR equipment to inspect them in the event of an earthquake instead of having to do it the old way and drill into the concrete to inspect.... Seems like a pretty cool use of the TDR technology.

    that is cool, thanks :waving:

i am finishing up in the mountains, pretty much on schedule. last week we were blocked in by a phone co. truck and while getting the truck moved i was bs-ing with the troubleman about his new sidekick http://www.teltec.com.au/images/pdfattachment/pdf_4de824e35e958SIDEKICK PLUS USER GUIDE.pdf . first he was suprized that i knew what it was at a glance, when i asked him how he liked it he bragged about it having TDR built in. when i reached in the back of the truck and brought mine out he looked at me real funny and asked me what i needed a TDR for, which was a mistake...........we had a nice long discussion.:laugh::laugh:
