Sorry about those stripes I left in your yard.

I was in a funny mood the other day when I was mowing (must be all the rain), and I noticed I had laid down some real sweet stripes with my new 36" Hydro. When I went to get the check from the owner I told him I was sorry about the stripes I left in his yard. He went to the back yard and took a peek. I thought he would get the joke, but he said "Oh dont worry about it" "Its probably because the lawn is so wet". Then he says "Actually I kind of like it- can you do it next week"?

Just proves my point that customers don't care, and half the time don't understand about stripes. Is a funny story though.

I had an elderly lady ask me why the lawn was different shades every other row (striped) last year, looks funny she said.

Most people just want the grass mowed and that really just means cut.
