Question - when is it getting too late for good results and no worry about winter kill of new growth. We are slitseeding in southeast ohio using Lesco Teamates (81 percent Fescue and 19 percent rye). We have 3 slit seed lawns to do Saturday First of October. These lawns are about 70 percent live grass that customers have seen the neighbors lawn fill in after we did them 10 to 12 days ago. I am thinking this will be about the end of it for the season or am I allready to late to get hardy start before heavy frost stops new growth.

    Thanks Wayne
