I just so happen live in the transition zone. For cold weather grasses, sept 15th is the magical day to seed. I plan on overseeding some irrigated lawns and a few that do not have irrigation (these are some friends of mine and I want the results to be as good as possible). I am just wandering if I am jumping the gun by trying to get started tomorrow, sept 7th. The problem is it is dry and I mean dry. Temps are in the 90's but are suppose to get in the mid 80's come mid week. I have big plans on the following weekend so that is out. Should I wait until the 21'st of Sept or give it a shot now. Plan on seeding with a three way blend fescue.

    thanks
