Does anyone take the spark arresters off their trimmers when you first get them?

Remove them even before first use. Better power and better fuel economy. Less power needed just to push out the exhaust gases. Oh weah, machiens also seem to run a little cooler.

No new equipment makes it out the dealers door with the screens installed.

I got a nice collection of new spark arrestor screens in a drawer, Unless you live in a high fire risk area i would take them off.
