I need new boots. I like the ones I have been wearing last year. Redwing Oxford with steel toes. They say they are waterproof, but I still have to scotch guard them regularly. I get about 5-6 hours in the rain until they start getting wet.

    What do you guys prefer?

Red Wings were my choice for forty years, but I noticed the quality and lack of personal attention at the stores going way down; maybe they're not even made in this country anymore?

I still like Timberland boots, but I always save them for the very end of the season, and wear crappy Texas Steer boots during warmer weather. And for wet service work, I'll wear cheesy imitations of the Maine Hunting Shoes.

In the summer, I wear some water resistant tennis shoes and shorts.

Cooler times get me in these John Deere branded, waterproof, insulated, steel toed wonders. Very comfy. My first pair of Schitt-kickers.

The dogs seem to like them as well, same goes for any shoe in the house.

During summer when it's warm, and I'm actually working, I have other shoes/sandals I'll post later. we've talked about this before. Most of you won't agree with my choice, but I'm the boss. I can wear what I want. :)
