Did you get a part number for the new version?

No. But I will check when I stop over at the dealer to pick up my edger. He told me they were trying to sell through the old stock before the new ones became available.

I have been using Husky trimmers for 5 years. After using home owner trimmers for years I was amazed how easy to reload these trimmers. I look forward to finding something easier to use. My t35 take about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes to reload. I mow about 30 lawns a week and change the bump knob about 1 time a year.

nice info but I think I'll still use the standard bump head.

for me the standard bump head is easy, quick and hassle free compared to the speed feed heads. I can load a standard head in under a min.

Please keep us updated. I can't wait to get the smaller one with high capacity.

You can replace the cover on the Speed Feed. We do it all the time.
