Is there anyway to speed up a PG. I can push a yard faster than this. I might be more exhuasted, but one step closer to the end of the day.:walking::laugh:

Check your rpms if they are below 3450 you might want to adjust your throttle cable or the throttle stop screw.

make sure your in high gear.. the fender on the right side can interfer with the full movement and you will be in lower gear

How fast are you going? Take a stopwatch and measuring wheel. 5 mph is 440 feet in one minute. At 5 mph and 11 feet wide you are covering 4840 sqft per minute. 290,400 feet per hour(6.6 acres) (if you didn't need to stop to refill).

You could always put a bigger pulley on the output shaft or a smaller pulley on the tranny.

Riggle you say 11 feet wide is your coverage area. Mine doesn't seem to throw no more than six. My walk behind throws farther than the PG. I looked at the rpm today its reading like 2600 something and the cable adjusting screw at the lever is screwed all the way in, is that tightening the cable or loosening.

if you're only getting 2600+ rpms then it sounds as if your throttle assembly needs to be moved over so that the throttle cable will fully pull the armiture on the assembly. Call John at PG and tell him your situation, usually a quick fix with 3 hands or you and someone else pulling the throttle cable and retightening the throttle assembly at the correct rpm.
