I'll be ripping out the old split rail at my dad's house (about 50 posts) and will be replacing it with 3 rail western cedar (10') . My question is does anyone have a good place to order this from (its all pressure treated crap locally) and it seems fairly straight forward to install, dig hole pop in post move down 10' dig another hole, pop in post add rails repeat. But are there any tips I should know specific to this product.

I've put in 6x8 pt dogeared and 3x6 gothic before so its not my first fence job, just my first time with split rail.

Has anyone used linseed oil on the cedar to give it the wet look, or is there a better product?

I found a place that has pricing at around $15 a rail and $16 a 3-hole post, all cedar.

    any help is appreciated
