I measured mine (my spoons that is...) from where they are clamped in to the tip and they measure like 3 1/4 inches. This is an old unit but it runs and functions fine, I just want to know if my spoons are worn down and need replacing. I want to know that i'm pulling as deep a plug as possible!

Bump... No one on here has a clue what the NEW length of these tines (or spoons) is??? I can find them to purchace online and in catalogs but they don't state how long they are, just the diameter.

wow, i'm sorry my name isn't bobby... maybe then and only then could i get some HELP when i asked for it!

what a stinko deal... new tines are 2.80 a piece times 30, and all i wanted to know is wether i needed them or not.

sometimes this site really irks me... if I had another "which ztr is best???", i'd have 3 pages of comments, but a legit question gets nothing.

Jason - it doesn't sound as if there is much wear on your tines at all. A quick call to your local Ryan dealer may confirm this.
