I had such a tool awhile back.
I used it to spot spray weeds.
But I cant seem to find it.
Does anyone know where I can order one on line.

    Thanks,

    Bob

I don't know a specific tool, but chemlawn guns use standard hose threads. Thus, any of your garden variety hose attachments will screw on and can be operated as you wish...

(Former LESCO) I used to special order the Gun/Wand adapter item #009543

At one time (mid '80's) the main body was brass. Late '80's they started to come with a white Nylon body. The rest of the parts were still brass.

Knowing the Nylon would break we'd also order #?????? in brass.

Can't find that stinking item # right now. Not that it would matter since all of those dusty old slow movers were "purged". I remember Dimino's inventory cops made us box all that stuff up & ship it off.

You might try calling a really old Service Center. If the manager has more than 15 years tenure he might know how & where to get those old cool parts.

You might also try A.M. Leonard's as they used to sell stuff like that.

Not Leonard's -I was thinking of Rittenhouse.

Anyway, here's a similar item that would adapt.

Third item down is for a JD9 but it'll get you started - then off to the specialty hardware store.

    Bob:
Out of curiosity, what are your reasons for using a tank and hose for spot spraying?

I saw a LCO a couple weeks ago doing the same thing. Slow & cumbersome -- going back & forth (a few dozen times), but I'm sure the weed kill is good. I say either spray the yard from the tank, or else use a backpack sprayer. ????

Also, Sprayer Specialties (Grimes, IA) sells what you need.
