That is normal. Hopefully they are not your competition. I have no issue with those guys. They take care of the those that care little or not about how the job is done as long as it is done.

Across the street from a place I did a full renovation on, the family uses the flavor of the day company.

As far as I am concerned, BIG DEAL! They don't mean squat to me. I even will offer them iced cold water or gatorade while I am working across the street from them because you know they don't have any.

Smile and wave and know that your taking care of your customers so you have nothing to worry about.

Well put Tamadrummer! Any dip in the economy brings them out down here in Texas; but they never last when they realize how hot it gets here working 9hour days.

Dont get me wrong here, I love fluid film, and I buy it by the gallon, but its a waste on a mower deck. It does absolutely nothing, and I even power washed the deck first. It was spotless.
I think there's a thousand better uses than wasting it on the mower deck.

Its the same way here, however, I have picked up several new ones in the past week and I am nowhere near the cheapest around. I just try to sell myself and let my work do the talking. Clients come and clients go and believe me I get disgusted and want to throw the towel in sometime but I keep crawling back for one more round until I hear the bell ring. I ain't heard it ring just yet!
