I have been spot spraying for weeds at my aprox. 35 -5 to 10,000 sq. ft. lawns and this has been working well with my 5 gal. backpack sprayer. I have added 3 to 4 - 40,000 sq.ft. lawns. I'm thinking about a 6 gal. sprayer with a motor to avoid all the pumping - cost 700.00 or getting a 25 gal. with a 6 ft. spray pattern boom and mounting it to the front of our mower - cost 300.00.
The back pack sure is easy -just throw it in the pickup and I'm gone.I take
5 gal. buckets with me to refill.

I was in the same boat as you, but just got done making a boom and 25 gallon spray rig for my ztr. It turned out very nice. I would say go for it!

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough - I am licensed and was looking for ideas on how to spray the 3 to 4 - 40,000 sq. ft. lawns. Have a great day !
