spraying ivy to kill for a client.

    A CLIENT requested me to kill a ivy patch and he will clesn it up...

    any tips on what to use to spray on it...

    What kind of ivy? Ornamental ivy, like English? Or poison ivy? Round up will work for poison ivy. Arsenal should work for either one.

    I have had excellent kill w/Roundup and 2-4D mixed. :) ;) :) ED

    Good Luck!! I have sprayed Ivy before and had to concoct a serious death mix. but it did the trick.

    Best woody plant killer is triclopyr. Any plant you are trying to control MUST be actively growing for good control. Kind of early for most groundcovers now.
