well i need to know how this will effect my tank ?? its aluminum?will it harm it? will this stuff clean up easy? it looks like it will be a pain in the but?
im going to spray this with weed control stike 3 to spike my lawns better colar you know
how do i clean my tank and hoses etc...

  2. Only mix what you need for the day, if in a poly tank where the sun can get to it, it will make it hard to clean.

I have the **** stuck to one tank I have, and it will not come out.

Hey how do you like that Strike 3, I am using it for the first time this year, having good success. I knows it's 2,4-D, but it is really low priced.

    LGF,
I was wondering, how were your spraying results w/ the PermaGreen????? Who markets Strike 3 ??? I have heard of it, but have not seen it locally. ED

  5. I am having diffaculties getting it just right, but I know I am not far off as the weeds are dieing, but its not getting past the crown on taller lawns, so I have to spot retreat some areas.

Grass height plays a major role in these machines.

I know on my spray rig I built, I didn't have to worry about this as I used more water as a carrier.

I have no idea how it's marketed, but it does say not for sale to homeowners and commercial applicators only.

It's one of the few I have ever bought that is labeled for sod farms and AG use also.

I have been using Strike 3 plus Confront. I am more on the confront, and been adding Strike 3 for the dandelions, thistle and plantain. Eerily for the last 2 I wrote, but guess left from last year on new properties.

I don't like the slow kill of the confront on some of the weeds, so I add the strike 3.

    Mike,
Who not how. I was wanting to know the name of company that makes Strike 3. I have had great weed control useing the high gear white nozzles on the bottom of the PermaGreen. I didn't get very good results when spraying w/ the top location, and didn't like the occasional blow back from the top. The new Ultra's have both sets of nozzles on the bottom. My buddy just bought one last week. I set it up for him, but I like the way my spreader works better than the Lesco their useing now. Mine has a lot flatter and more even pattern. I messed with his for about an hour but still couldn't get it to spread as nice as mine does. ED

  7. Email me, I will grab a label from the shop tomarrow.

They make me keep my records for apps where the chemicals are stored, so I enter that stuff at the shop, and email the data to my home office, so I can bill them.
