    how do you kill cudweeds in St. Augustine? my husband sprayed Speed Zone Southern a few months ago..a blanket spray but it didn't kill everything...there's a bunch of cudweed. p

    It's best to use Gallery 75 for your pre-em. Then follow up with metsurfuron. Both of these are friends to the St. Augustine. It may be a little difficult to control them now; the best control is way before they begin to set a stalk. Atrazine would be a good choice in the very early spring for any that pop up really early. Manor or "Mansion" from Lesco is a metsurfuron brand name. Also, check out E-Bay.
    Read the label on the metsurfuron.

    Look into the pyridine and sulfonlurea chems.
