:blob3: wow, spurge everywhere, we havent had rain in like 3 weeks and the ground is hard as a rock and the spurge is up and healthy. been spraying but what dies there's 3 new right next to them. we even did 2 rounds of pre-m and still a problem, its mostly at the "hot" spots on the lawn mainly the curb strip. just figured i throw that out there for you guys. tony

    Tony,

    I feel for ya man.

We have our lawns 90+% weed free after or May Visit. The lawns that are more sparse always get invaded by spurge, crabgrass, oxalis, or other crappy weeds when in similar conditions. ALthough your clients don't like sseing them, just explain that unfortunately weeds thrive in thee conditions, then push a core aeration w/renovation for the lawn (problem areas) in the fall.

:blob3: bob, our last visit in early june everything was lookin great weed free and green, the last 3-4 weeks have really took its toll on the lawns. is it september yet. im a little surprised because we have a pretty extensive pre-m program too.

BTW, hows the Purslane and crabgrass in those areas??

WE haven't had a lot of problems until last week. Just noticed some popping up (more so in beds not turf). We always apply Dimension late March/early April. Great product for crabgrass anyway.
