I'm looking for a average price per sq. ft to seed, fert and aerate.
85-110 per thousand sqft. depending on seed used as well as fertilizer.
Are you talking about overseeding or starting from scratch?
Overseeding and cheap. Using cheap seed and fert.
Well there isnt a snowballs chance in hell I could get what Hirsch does.
For a 5000 sq ft lawn I usually get around $200 to $250 to aerate, overseed with Revolution Tall Fescue and throw some starter fert. down.
I get about half what he does.
PGA, you don't know how to sell. I get 100.00 per k in Lawrence 20 minutes away from you!
I charge $50-60 per thousand on lawns 5-15k. that is for a good quality blue/rye mix, and 6-24-24 fert.
Are you kidding?
There is no way anyone would pay me 500 bucks for an hours worth of work.
Whats your secret?
I offer them a warranty on the seed if they also sign up for fert program.
What are the guidelines on the warranty?
I seeded a ton of yards this year and half of them called and said nothing came up. I went back and the ground was bone dry. It looked like the desert. I asked if they watered and they all complained about water bills. I wouldnt warranty anything like that.
I still dont think I could get that much. But hey, Ill give it a shot this fall, nothing to lose. I cant stand doing that stuff anyway.
