Square Footage Help

    I'm guessing most of us price jobs according to square footage. What the quickest way to measure this? Too often I'm left to estimate in the moment and end up either going over or under...

    Measure it. Get a wheel or learn how to step it off. being a golfer I have a perfect 1 yard step - I can do sq footages pretty quick. You can also use google earth they have a ruler feature that is very accurate. You can also get the property dimensions from public website that cities use to show property values then measure the house dimensions on google earth and subtract it from the total property. So there are many ways to do it.
