Recent stamped patio
looks good..but pavers are better
Wow---looks very clean and nice lookin..no joints in there?
Very nice. I heard that is a nasty- dusty job. Looks great.
Looks like $16 ft2 that will crack at any time. Without joints it'll probably crack sooner than later...
If I wasn't bias I'd say it looks good. For concrete it does.
Thanks for the reply's.This picture was taken before I cut the control joints.
you should cut control joints the day after you pour thats when the concrete moves the most with in the first few days. and when the diamond blade warms up as it is cutting it will heat the sealer up and mark it.
I rent a soft cut saw. Wonderful! Looks good but i still lean towards pavers!
Stamped is much cheaper in cost than pavers right? What is the price (average diff.) for the customer? Just wondering
That is a mis conception about quality stamp concrete, it is not cheaper than pavers reasoning being you should still be putting a base down first, we put 6" blue stone base for driveways and 4" for walkways. All of our concrete gets 3/8 steel rod and fiber mesh, I do not believe in wire it is not strong enough for me. With stamp concrete we can create truly custom jobs with one of a kind colors that you will not see at your nieghbors house unlike pavers. sqft 11 to 20
