Stander x blade change a pain

    Not sure why wright went with the thru bolt design on the spindles. Proving to be a major pain!!!!! Seems like a step back to me . Takes 3 times longer to change. Here in Florida I swap blades everyday.

    I prefer the through bolt design personally, its easier to change on the go without an impact. the other thing is if you hit something the bolt can take the blow and slightly less chance of damaging the spindle, as well as taking cross-threading the bolt out of the equation and ruining a spindle. they use the same decks on their fixed deck machines now, and the through bolt allows more flexibility for changing blade heights on those models, as well as the option to add more spacers to run flat blades.

    on another note, what blades do you run on your X and how do you like the cut?
