    Once again..

This time I have a new guy that hopefully sticks around..
Does anyone have any good tips or literature that might help him?

The guy does a clean head so far..I just need to get him up to speed on fittings.
I know its tough to pick this stuff up.. All I really have him do is watch me for a while then i let him get to it..

    hope all is well!

He wants to do it or he doesn't. If he does just hand him catalogs and give him the link to this website!
Try not to worry too much about it. I've got gray hairs starting to show up on my arms, not to mention my head and beard, from worrying about other people's motivation (or lack of it). :hammerhead:

A lesson I am trying to digest from the recent past is to get the emotions out of it. Success or failure is more clear, quicker. Have an evaluation system in place to gauge things.

I will say one thing this year I am a little harder on a new guy that I see some prospect in..

I don't say everyday "nice job"

    Those he has to earn.

Hey man sorry I didn't text you back I have been really busy. Hope your guy works out better than my new guy. He told my other guy today that he was going to quit tomorrow. Perfect timing, we start a 4 acre system Monday.

    no sweat brotha!

You and Jim pretty much said the same thing...it worked out fine after the thurst blocking and put the bricks back we are in business.

That Fertigation system fired up today with out a hitch! I still really wish my boss would let me put in flow control valves after the fert system but he decided to use "faucets to control the flow"

    :(
