I have a few suggestions for starting your landscaping company. I'd say when starting your landscaping company, have a business plan. Have goals and landmarks you'd like to reach from year 1 to year 5, hopefully by year 5, with the right plan, action and set-up, you won't have to truly work after that. Secondly, a great place to find some equipment for a good price to start, is the local municipal auction. Find one of google, check it out and get all your stuff from there, no point in buying all new stuff unless you want to take a serious bite into your profit margin. I always recommend buying a new trimmer though, that's where it all really counts whether you're clearing out a weed bed or touching up your edges, a fully functioning, well maintained trimmer(s) will save you a lot of hair. Remember to let your equipment warm up after start though, slap anybody who insists on giving it gas immediately after starting it up! My 2 cents.
