Hey guys, I'm starting my own Lawn/Landscaping business this year. I've done a lot of work in the past few years for a few different companies so I have a good general outlook on everything. I'm planning on getting all my equipment in the next week or so. I was wondering how you guys go about setting prices for yearly contracts. I know you've got to factor in your time and costs, ect. Do you do the work once first and find out exactly what it's going to take or what. Thanks

Yearly contract here are based on summer service totals, plus snow removal totals, plus tax, divided by twelve months. We have a 26 week mowing season, and base snow removal on 15 snowfalls a season. Prices are based on cost for us to do the work first then adding on our percentage of profit. Good Luck.
